Overlap · who thinks alike
Which superinvestors own the same stocks?
Across 435 possible manager pairs, 192 share at least one top holding. Ranked by shared-holding count, then by joint weight in both portfolios.
Dataroma lets you browse one manager at a time. HoldLens overlap surfaces the consensus lattice — if two independent managers with different philosophies both pile into the same name, that's a stronger signal than either holding alone.

How overlap is computed
Three numbers per pair
- 1. Shared count. The primary ranking. How many tickers appear in both managers’ top-holdings lists. A higher count means deeper consensus.
- 2. Jaccard overlap. Shared / union. A correction for portfolio breadth — two managers with 20 holdings each sharing 5 is a 14% Jaccard; two managers with 10 holdings each sharing 5 is 33%. Penalizes the “big book wins by default” effect.
- 3. Joint weight. For every shared ticker, take the smaller of the two managers’ position weights and sum. This tells you how much of both portfolios the shared book actually represents — the depth of the shared conviction, not just the breadth.
Pair cards in the top section show every shared ticker with both managers’ position sizes and the live ConvictionScore. Click through to the signal page for the shared thesis — these are the names with cross-philosophy conviction.
